– Vindale scam

How works claims to pay its members to try and evaluate its partners’ products and services, and to take a variety of other paid offers, such as pay-to-click emails. While we have not signed up for this service, we’ve uncovered a few details about them that make us a bit wary of working with them, including their multiple mailing addresses and their similarity to 5in5Now.

Benefits of joining include:

  • Low payout minimum: $20
  • Payment options: You may opt to be paid via PayPal, eGold or check.
  • $20 bonus. On their site, GPTT claims to offer a $20 payout bonus, however the directions to do so on the FAQs page are vague.

Drawbacks of joining include:

  • Multiple domains. looks suspiciously like 5in5Now . Not necessarily a bad thing. But, still, odd.
  • Confusing referral system. As stated on , “Affiliates will earn 20% of their direct referral earnings, 10% of their indirect referral level earnings, 5% of their 3rd level referral earnings, 3% of their 4th level referral earnings, 2% of their 5th level referral earnings and 1% of their 6th level referral earnings.” Huh?
  • Multiple mailing addresses. On its Contact Us page, lists an address in Brooklyn. However, its Better Business Bureau profile <> says it’s located in Montana. Again, not necessarily bad, but a bit suspicious.

Opinion Outpost – Vindale scam

How Opinion Outpost works

Answer survey questions from market research companies and consumer brands to earn Opinion Points (10 Opinion Points = $1.00). After you earn 50 Opinion Points you may redeem them for cash payment via check in the mail.

Benefits of joining Opinion Outpost include:
Low payout minimum: $5 (50 points)
Variety of rewards. You may earn Opinion Points (redeemable for cash), sweepstakes entries, instant win opportunities—even charitable donations.
Diverse offers. Earn rewards by taking paid surveys, testing consumer products, watching movie trailers, TV ads and more.

Drawbacks of joining Opinion Outpost include:

  • Vague referral program. On their website, Opinion Outpost says they’ll credit you for referring friends, but doesn’t specify payment amount.
  • No PayPal option. You may only receive payment via checks. Opinion Outpost asks you allow 4 – 6 weeks for delivery.
  • Points system. Even though converting Opinion Points is pretty easy (10 Opinion Points = $1.00), we’re not crazy about point systems in general.
